Salt Lake City in the Rain

Our day in Salt Lake didn’t go exactly as we had planned, but we still had a fun day.

As we headed out that day it was a little overcast. Knowing it would be a late day luckily we grabbed the kids jackets. As we got closer to Salt Lake it began to rain, and rain and rain. The temperature kept dropping and we began to worry. We were all in short and us girls had on sandals. We decided to stop at Target and get an umbrella and jackets for Bob and I.

We had rain pretty much all day, so we ran from Conference Center to lunch, to Visitor Center, to Tabernacle to other Visitor Center to the Church History Museum. No leisurely strolls or enjoying the flowers. We did stop long enough to get one picture outside of the temple.

 

After that we drove up to Ogden area to meet up with the Rollins and Hodgson’s for dinner. It was so fun to visit and catch up. As we were driving up the mountains all had snow on them.
