Pioneer Park

The skies cleared up today and we went back in time to the This is the Place Pioneer park and Historic Village.

We attended school, made rag dolls, did chores, played games, helped print a newspaper, cleaned wool and learned how to spin it, worked with leather, rode a train, pulled a handcart, and walked through the houses of some of the pioneers and listened to their stories.

It was a fun day and we learned a lot about the pioneers and how hard they had to work. Rachel especially like the games and chores.
