Our trip to Alcatraz was really cool. The kids all loved the audio tour. I was a little worried it would be scary for Rachel but she loved it and listened very intently.
The highlight of the trip for most of the kids was seeing a former prisoner signing the book he wrote in the gift shop.
The highlight for me, was watching the fog roll across the island as we were leaving to head back to Pier 39.
After this we walked down to Pier 39 for dinner and shopping. It was a great day, but we were all exhausted at the end.
