Today we hike Mt. Timpanogos. It was a perfect day for a hike. It was 46 degrees as we started. It is not as easy hike, I can’t believe that there are people who do it daily. It is 1 1/2 miles up with an elevation change of over 1,000 feet.
We were worried about how Rachel would do, because last summer in Yosemite she did not enjoy hiking. She amazed us and did GREAT! Not a single complaint the whole way. I think it helped that it was nice and cool.
The caves were spectacular and our guide was really knowledgeable. Our group was small: it was us, the Hanson's and one other group of 3, so he was able to spend lots of time pointing things out and answering all of our questions.
