Houston Space Center

When we got off the ship on Sunday we had a say to kill. We didn’t fly home until Monday.

So after waiting until the very last call to get off the boat, we headed to the Johnson Space Center.

We started the day with the guided tour. On the tour we saw:

Mission Control

 164163 161 160 159

Training Center, where they have mock ups of everything on the shuttle, and where they practice docking the ISS and other things.

185 184 183 181 180 179 178 176 171 169 168

We also got to see some cool missiles, and a Titan Rocket. It was amazing how big they were.

216 213 212 211 210 209 207 206 205 204 202

The rest of the day was spent going through the exhibits and displays.
