They kids were out playing hide and seek in the backyard today. It was rather warm. Rachel decided to follow the boys and try to climb up on the flatbed trailer on the side of Sherrie’s house. Well it was in the sun and the metal was really hot. She burned the bottom of her foot pretty good. She wouldn’t walk on it for a few hours. Luckily Sherrie had one of the burn gel pads and after we got it on, she was more comfortable.
That night at dinner she let us take her special bandage and sock(she was wearing a pair of Emma’s fuzzy socks) off and look at it. This is what we saw. I was totally convinced she was going to be in pain the rest of our trip. UM, NO!! She was out jumping on the trampoline before bed and wore shoes the next day no problem. It never even peeled or anything.
