We were lucky enough to be in Sacramento again this year for the 4th. We started the day at Sherries house where Emma, Rachel and I made red, white and blue pancakes for everyone. They also had red white and blue pop tarts.
Later that morning we headed for the Grandma and Grandpa Wallace’s for the annual 4th BBQ. We were lucky enough to have the Cahoon’s come with us. Uncle Jamie left that morning for Canada so they came too.
There was swimming, food, fireworks, snow-cones, and lots of people.
All of Bob’s siblings and most of his cousins in the area all come and so everyone brings fireworks, so we have quite the show in the dead end next to his parents house. Rachel and Claire thought they were so funny in the beginning every time a firework went off they held each other and screamed. It was really cute.
It was as fun night and a chance for us to see people we don’t always get to see.
