For Brandon’s Eagle project he agreed to paint 12 classroom wall, a workroom wall and 2 bathroom walls at Cortina School. The highlighted rooms are the ones he worked on.
This part of the project had many parts. First he and Bob went and measured all the walls and took note of any holes that needed patching.
Next they patched the walls. Brandon had one of his teachers from church Jeddy Brimhall come teach him how to patch up the hole. This all took place at the end of May.
Finally we had 4 other families meet us at the school for dinner and a taping party. Each family took 2 rooms to tape off. We couldn’t have done it without them.
After all that hard work we all enjoyed some root-beer floats.
I should also mention that Brandon spent many hours before this all happened filling out all the paperwork, going to businesses and talking to family and friend to get donations so that this could even happen. I have always heard what a crazy process the Eagle Project is, and now I understand it. It has consumed our lives for over a month now.
