Makutu’s Island

One of the days that the Cahoon’s were visiting we went to Makutu’s Island.

It is a 20,000 square foot indoor play place. The centerpiece of Makutu’s Island is its 25-foot indoor old oak tree. Filled with tunnels, tubes, mole-holes, fire-poles and slides, the magnificent tree offers hours of fun and adventure.

We had never been there  before and had no ideas what we were in for. The kids had a blast. We went on a school say and so it wasn’t very crowded. In the beginning Rachel didn’t really like it so Sherrie and I had to climb in too. Which they encourage.

After a while she would take off with the kids for a few minutes as long as they didn’t leave her she was OK.

At the end of the afternoon they all played a few video games and used their tickets to buy vampire teeth.
