We just got back from our most recent trip to Sacramento. The kids and I got to spend 2 weeks there. Bob had to work so only got a total of about 3 days with us.
Most of the time was spent packing my parents to move. Yes, the house SOLD!!
It is both happy and sad. I am so excited that they now have a place that mom can move her chair around with ease. But it was a little sad pulling out of town knowing that we wouldn’t be back to “their house”.
The new house is beautiful, and I am sure we will make just as many happy memories there.
While we were there we also celebrated both mine and Ethan’s birthday. On the first Sunday we were there before Bob left to go home, we celebrated with the Wallace Family. We did dinner, presents, and cupcakes.
Then on his real birthday we went to Grant’s soccer game and then headed to Texas Roadhouse for lunch.
Then the next day (Sunday), we had dinner with my Grandpa and the rest of my family and Aunt Sherrie made her secret recipe Oreo Cupcakes.
We also took a day off from packing and took the boys to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Sherrie’s daughter was still in Canada and Rachel spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa Wallace so it was Sherrie and I and the boys!! It was a short day but we had a lot of fun. They have some really fun roller coasters. The only downer was while riding the River raft ride (our last ride of the day) Grant and Brandon got SOAKED!! While we were all laughing at them, Sherrie ducked her head to miss a splash and when she brought her head up, she lost the hat she was wearing
. It was my favorite hat. It is gone forever.
On they way down to the park we made a quick stop in Dixon to the VA Cemetery. Where my Grandma was buried. I wasn’t able to be there for the funeral, so it was nice to be able to go and visit.
Here are just a few more random pics of the kids and their cousins. I didn’t take that many pictures this trip.

One of these times when you're in Sac, we should meet up! I know you were probably way too busy this time, but it would be fun!
