Back in June Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in her right breast. She chose to have a mastectomy to remove it. Today was the big day. It was also the first day of family reunion. I decided to go to reunion rather than sit at the hospital all day. I was going to spend the next day with her at home helping with recovery, cleaning and cooking.
Everything went well, the surgery was a success. They got it all and it hasn’t spread to her lymph nodes. She will still need to do chemo, but she is on the road to recovery.
To support her all of us girls, went and got our nails done.
