I got to head to Sacramento all by myself this weekend, for a girls weekend!!! It was a little late birthday present for Emma!!
Thursday night after I got in, we went to dinner and hit Kohl's. Then headed to our hotel. We were all tired and a little silly.
The next morning after breakfast we were off for a shopping marathon, and of course a dressing room picture! Leslie was able to get off work early and meet us at lunch time. Man was I beat at the end of the night. Who knew shopping was so hard.
Saturday was spent doing what else??? Soccer. Emma and Grant both had games at almost the same time in different towns. So Sherrie and I took Grant and Jamie went with Emma. After we met up for lunch.
The fall colors while I was there were incredible. That is one thing I miss. This is just a small sample we saw on our afternoon walk with Mom.
It was so fun to get away by myself. I think I have only ever done it 2 other times. We might have to make this an annual thing. Thanks Bob for holding the fort down for me.
