So we packed up the morning after Christmas and headed to Sacramento!! We usually drive in 2 days. The kids wanted to have more time in CA, now that the kids are bigger we might be back to doing the drive in 1 day.
While we were there we had a ton of fun with cousins.
So much fun, in fact most nights this is what Rachel looked like as we drove back!
We also made a trip out to Folsom Lake, it was at record low levels. Because of this, Mormon Island and gold gold town that has been underwater since the dam was built was no exposed. We met up with Sherrie’s family, Lisa’s family and Kristen’s family.
We also stopped at the Fish hatchery.
We were also lucky enough to be there for Grants baptism.
