We told the kids they couldn’t get up before 6am when they went to bed on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately Rachel can’t tell time so she came into our room about 5:40. At 6:00 on the dot the boys come in. Then after a few minutes of coaxing us out of bed, we headed downstairs to see what Santa had brought during the night.
I love looking at Christmas morning pictures later as half of them are blurry since everyone is so excited that they can’t be still.
Rachel was super excited about her Doc McStuffins doll. It even talks and sings. The boys are not so excited about it. She also got an Easy Bake Oven and Just Dance 2 for kids, she had been asking for the dance game and was so excited, the picture doesn’t’ do justice to her shaking and dancing around at getting “exactly what she wanted”
The boys got a Wii U. Our old Wii has been broken for months so they were really excited to see this. They each got a few games and a controller too.
Zachary finally got his cell phone. He was pretty sure he was getting one since Brandon was the same age when he got his. But when he came down and it wasn’t out from Santa he wasn’t sure. we let him open the first present and as he started to open it Bob called it and it began to ring so he knew what it was. Of course my camera decided to act up so I missed most of it on camera.
Here are some more pictures from opening presents.
They all said it was a good Christmas. Here they are with all the loot.
They spent the rest of the day playing with new toys and games and get generally getting along it was a true Christmas miracle. They did take a quick break to have lunch and visit with Cathy and Craig when they came over for a while.
