Today my “little” brother married an awesome girl!!! We all just love Leslie. They have been together for more than 8 years so she already seemed like one of the family, today just made it official.
It was a beautiful day! The weather was perfect, the decorations beautiful and the couple so happy.
After spending 2 days decorating, it was here.
Leslie came over about 2:30 to get her make-up done. Sherrie and her friend Amy did a great job. She was so calm even with all 6 kids running around trying to get showered and everyone getting ready.
After she was done, mom and Aunt Cathy came over and we did mom’s hair and make up. Then it was time to head out for pictures. We did kids and families first so we didn’t have to worry about them staying clean. we were outside after all. Here is what I took with my camera.
I only got a one great shot of the bride and groom. Bob also got one from afar on his camera.
The location was beautiful.
This was before the ceremony. Leslie was hiding out in a different part of the yard. The pic where it looks like Sherrie is crying, she’s not. Her contact went all crazy right after pictures. So it looked like she was crying.
Jamie did a great job with the ceremony. He married them. We gave him a lot of grief about it, but he did a great job.
The dinner after was awesome!!! Randy did all the food himself. He had a friend help him, but he smoked all the meat and made the beans. Dinner was smoked chicken or briquette, baked beans, salad, corn on the cob and rolls. It was delicious.
The best part of the night according to the kids was the photo booth. We came home with 17 strips from it. I have to admit I even went in 3 times!!!
