This was Ethan first year to make a Pinewood Derby Car. He and Bob worked hard together and got it knocked out. I guess I should included Rachel too, since she LOVES Ethan and wants to do everything that he does, she had to help with every step too.
Sanding: Which they did with out me knowing!! So no pictures!
Sanding the wheels:
Putting on the Skin: This year when out looking for paint and car stuff they found this cool stuff called a skin that you put on your car instead of paint. So they decided to try it. I think Bob and I will have a hard time going back to paint next year if that is what Ethan wants. This was so fast, so easy, didn’t make a mess, doesn’t smell or require lots of coats or hours.
