Disneyland

For Thanksgiving this year we surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland. We packed up the suitcases and loaded the car then picked them up from school and told them we were going on a trip. Disneyland was one of the guesses they had but we wouldn’t confirm or deny where we were going.

It was a busy, fun filled weekend. It was so fun to see Disney through Rachel’s eyes. To her everything was just so “magical”.  She LOVED meeting the characters. She filled two autograph books with signatures. She just loved to give them hugs and wanted to kiss them all. She wasn’t afraid of them one bit. She would search them out and rather stand in line to meet a character than go a ride. (lots of photos ahead- these are only a fraction of the characters she met, but the best photos) Some of the pictures she doesn’t look happy, but she is just going through a award forced smile phase!

It was kind of crowded being a holiday weekend, but we were still able to ride everything we wanted to multiple times.  They boys favorite rides this time were- Brandon-California Screamin’ and Tower of Terror, Zachary-Star Tours,  Ethan- Star Tours, California Screamin’ and Tower of Terror, Rachel- Carousel, Buzz Light Year, Little Mermaid, and Tea Cups.

They boys rode Star Tours at least 3 times each day trying to see all the different combinations of the new ride. I have to admit it was pretty cool.

Disney was all decorated for the holidays which is always so cool to see. It adds so many more fun places for photo opportunities.

It was great weekend together, and the kids are already to start planning the next trip!
