As many of you have heard Tuesday night after my mom arrived in Sacramento, after watching the kids while we were gone, she suffered a massive stroke.
After starting out at UDC Med Center (where she received excellent care in a timely manner), she was transferred to Kaiser South, and may even be moved to a Kaiser Rehabilitation center in Vallejo as early as Monday. Right now she has complete paralysis of her left side, including trouble swallowing and vision impairment.
We appreciate all of the love and support we have felt. Mom is aware of everything that is going on and we let her know when someone calls/text/emails, etc. So please don't think you go unnoticed if we don't respond, it is just more than we can do right now to respond to everyone.
We have put together a blog to keep everyone updated and to have a place for you to leave her a message. it is
