This is just a post for me to vent a little.
How early is too early to mow your lawn on a summer weekday morning?
Well apparently my neighbor thinks that about 5:15 am is just the perfect time. For the past 3 weeks he has been doing his lawn at that time.
AND WAKING US ALL UP!!!!!!
What do you do about a inconsiderate neighbor like that?
We don't really even know these people. They never come out of their house. I am so tired today that I want to go knock on the door and let them have it. I won't -but it's how I feel.
What do you all think. Am I the only one who thinks they are doing it too early? What would you do.

That is bad. I haven't heard it though...so it must be down the other side of the street.
Isn't there a noise ordinance or rule in the HOA/CC&R's?? I think there is...you should check....it might mean some more sleep for everyone!! :) Good luck!
That is too early. I think 7am should be the earliest. I'm sure he's doing it that early since it gets so hot there, but 5:15 is definitely too early!!
Way too early. I definatly would go over there and ask if for the consideration of your "young children" (always blame the kids!) :) request he chose a more comfortable time. MAybe bring cookies with the request to show you have no hard feelings
Could be worse - the neighbor I had next door last summer had a pit bull puppy that barked all night long & then the whole family would be out in the backyard drinking & yelling obscenities at each other at all hours - drove me insane!! Thank goodness for new neighbors! :)
