Today Brandon had the chance to practice some defensive driving with the driving school.
They met at a big parking lot and got to practice braking at high speeds. Driving a course at a high rate and driving in the skid car. A car with rails so it can’t flip.
It was a really good experience and he came away much more confident.
I have never seen Zachary this sick in his entire life. had him at he Dr. on 1/14 with Bronchitis and Influenza. He is SO very sick. He is down 6 pounds from when he was in last week for a check up.
Since I am actually writing this post after the fact- He ended up with Pneumonia a month later. He wasn’t completely himself again until late March.
It’s a lot to get 10 people ready to go to the snow.
The day started off rough, we were all loaded up and then our car wouldn’t start! After a jump it was on!
There wasn’t a ton of snow, but our kids who have never been to the snow really, didn’t know any better.
We had a little bad luck here too. After 1 run down the hill to bring people up, the snowmobile quit working. So we had to do it the old fashion way- walk up or just go on the small hill.
It was still a fun day with lots of memories made.
