So we realized this weekend if we were going to send out any Christmas cards this year we had better find a photo.
After scouring our photos of the year, there was nothing Christmas card worthy. So we had our own photo shoot.
We did our big Thanksgiving dinner this year on Friday with the Garrard Family. So before heading over we stopped at the Potato Barn to take some Photos.
And the final result, which I loved!
I got to head to Sacramento all by myself this weekend, for a girls weekend!!! It was a little late birthday present for Emma!!
Thursday night after I got in, we went to dinner and hit Kohl's. Then headed to our hotel. We were all tired and a little silly.
The next morning after breakfast we were off for a shopping marathon, and of course a dressing room picture! Leslie was able to get off work early and meet us at lunch time. Man was I beat at the end of the night. Who knew shopping was so hard.
Saturday was spent doing what else??? Soccer. Emma and Grant both had games at almost the same time in different towns. So Sherrie and I took Grant and Jamie went with Emma. After we met up for lunch.
The fall colors while I was there were incredible. That is one thing I miss. This is just a small sample we saw on our afternoon walk with Mom.
It was so fun to get away by myself. I think I have only ever done it 2 other times. We might have to make this an annual thing. Thanks Bob for holding the fort down for me.
Rachel had a friend party this year!! It was so much fun planning it. At first I was kind of bummed, because Frozen has been a little over done, but once we started planning, it was hard not to get carried away.
She invited 6 friends from the ward over, and they made snowflakes, made crowns,played in the “snow”, had a snowball toss/fight, played a match game, and pinned the nose on Olaf (which Bob made). We are also really lucky to have Grandma Wallace here visiting us. So she got to play with us too.
It was a really fun party, and sweet girls. We also had snacks. Snowballs (marshmallows), Princess wands (pretzel rods), snow man parts ( carrots&pretzels sticks), snow dip (ranch), snowflake shaped crackers and cheese, cup cakes and blue punch.
I can’t believe our baby is 6!! We had a fun day.
It started with donuts for breakfast, Mom brought Sonic to her for lunch, she got to pick her dinner which was Mac-N-Cheese, and had cupcakes for dessert after opening presents.
This year for some reason I didn’t take many pictures.
The kids got to dress up on Thursday for the trunk or treat.
Brandon was Uncle Si, Zach a farmer? Ethan was Star Lard from Guardians of the Galaxy and Rachel was of course Anna from Frozen.
Friday Rachel had a party at school I got to help at, but no costumes. Then Bob took the little ones trick or treating while I passed out candy. When the kids got home they loved passing it out for me.
