Then it was back home until Dad got home to open presents.
Then it was his pick for dinner out Red Robin

The drive home
So we tried so hard to avoid all those that were sick while we were visiting.
But at about 3:45am Rachel comes in saying she thought she was going to throw up………. well she did!!!
We debated staying in town and hoping it didn’t go through all of us, but decided to just get in the car early and GO!
She was such a trooper. She threw up on and off most of the day, but she always hit her bag and never complained. Poor thing. This time the flu, last time a double ear infection. She isn’t going to want to drive anymore!
24 hours later, back at home she was a new woman!!

July FHE with the Wallace’s
We were lucky enough to still be in town for FHE in July. Julie hosted this time. The kids had fun painting rocks for the yard. We then celebrated July birthdays which Ethan and I got to be included in.
We had to leave abruptly after Zach threw up. Come to figure out he ate something bad. We thought that the flu had caught up with him, even after we avoided all the sick ones.

4th of July
Since the flu was going around the Wallace’s and we were trying to avoid it before we went home, we spent the 4th at the Hanson's this year. It was a quiet day with just us and Todd’s mom, but we had a nice time, good food and of course fireworks.

Other Sacramento Fun
Some of the other fun things we did were: swimming with cousins
Night jumping on the trampoline with ballons and glo-sticks and dressing up
Being on TV
Talking a stroll down memory lane to see Mom and Dad’s old house, our house in Elk Grove where I grew up and my elementary, jr. high and high schools.
