So I saw a bunch of post on how to do rag curls, so we decided to try it.
It was really curly, I think we wrapped them to tight. We will have to try again.

We also went to Rawhide, again something we’ve talked about doing all these years, but have never done.
Unfortunately the day we picked was unseasonably HOT!!!! And we went at about 1:00 in the afternoon the hottest part of the day.
Went saw a live show, the little kids rode some rides, rode a donkey, panned for gold, and of course we had to do a new “old time” photo.
Note to self, next time go in the winter or the evening :)
We knew we were going to need vacation time this summer for our plans so we decided to do a few local trips for spring break. We went bowling, to the movies, went to the Biosphere 2 in Tucson, and went to Rawhide.
Biosphere was really cool. Can’t believe we’ve in AZ almost 20 years and never been. I can’t imagine living there and having no outside contact and growing all your own food, just for science. But it was a neat tour and our guide was super knowledgeable.
You know Rachel she has never met a stranger. She met a new best friend on our tour. They were inseparable for that hour. I know they exchanged names, but when we got home she couldn’t remember her name, but she is in most of our pictures :)
’'For part of spring break we went to the Science Center with the Spence’s. The kids had so much fun exploring together. Everything is better with friends!
My other post was getting to long so here is a post of just pictures from that day. M got most of these pictures were taken from Facebook, that members took and posted.
This was lead-up to the show:
Our incredible youth leaders who gave up so much to help these kids! They were there through it all!
These were during show time:
This was after the show:
This was where they were dancing! Another tender mercy of the night. All this water began pouring in, AS they left! Even thought it was a retention basin, it didn’t flow in during the show.
My favorite to pictures are ones that people added quotes to:
