Bob and I also celebrated our 19th anniversary today. So after the baptism, we headed over to Mom W. to drop off the kids for a sleep over. We then headed downtown to check in to our bed and breakfast.
After checking in we went to The Melting Pot for dinner.
Thanks Mom, for keeping our kids so we could have a much needed break!
So we packed up the morning after Christmas and headed to Sacramento!! We usually drive in 2 days. The kids wanted to have more time in CA, now that the kids are bigger we might be back to doing the drive in 1 day.
While we were there we had a ton of fun with cousins.
So much fun, in fact most nights this is what Rachel looked like as we drove back!
We also made a trip out to Folsom Lake, it was at record low levels. Because of this, Mormon Island and gold gold town that has been underwater since the dam was built was no exposed. We met up with Sherrie’s family, Lisa’s family and Kristen’s family.
We also stopped at the Fish hatchery.
We were also lucky enough to be there for Grants baptism.
Christmas Eve we did our usual. We made Reindeer Food and left that out for Santa’s reindeer, we made and sampled cookies for Santa, and went to look at Christmas Lights before coming home to hot chocolate and BED!
Christmas started out bright and early!! I think everyone was happy with what Santa brought them.
There was one Surprise from Santa, the kids had to go on a scavenger hunt to find their big gift.
Santa finally broke Bob down and brought us a TRAMPOLINE!!
The usual Christmas mess followed opening presents!
