We recently had a Scout Court of Honor where both boys received advancements and merit badges they have been working hard on.
Zachary received his Tenderfoot rank and his first aid and swimming merit badges.
Brandon received his Life rank and his family life, rifle shooting, signaling, and path finding.
Now it will be time soon to work on an Eagle Project!!
This morning I go down to the boys rooms to get them up for the day. They were all already awake and reading!!! It was such a beautiful sight.
I love it that all of my boys love to read and are starting to fight over who gets to read new books first.
Every year before the start of General Conference on Sunday we make homemade donuts for breakfast. The kids look forward to this every year.

It was such a great day to spend time together and to be able to listen to the prophet and apostles.
What kid of traditions do you have?
We have a new principal at our school this year, and they do a monthly assembly to honor students for academic and character achievements. This month Zachary was nominated by this homeroom teacher for “hard work” which was the character trait this month.
So we all got to got to school for donuts and juice and see Zachary receive his award.
Good job Zach, we are so proud of your hard work and glad that others noticed it too.
